How can I download free ringtones on my blackberry phone?
January 8th, 2009
My sister in law passed me down her skinny blackberry and i cant find the browser on the phone. What is another way to download ringtones for free?
If you are looking for FREE ringtones, yes, I mean ABSOLUTELY FREE, then look no further.
There is a free ringtone service called VENTONES.
Yes, this is legal, since you create the ringtones yourself from your own music (you can also use youtube audio).
Okay I'm trying a link here but I'm not sure if it will display correctly. If it does not, just copy and paste: http://www.ventones.com
Free Ringtones - Ventones
I know this may seem too good to be true, but it is really not! Yes, it takes more effort than clicking and typing mindlessly, but it is sooo worth it!
I don't know why anyone would ever purchase ringtones after they knew about this!
And if you don't feel up to making your own ringtones, Ventones legal ringtones that you can download. Ventones purchased the ringtones, and all you have to do to get them is to refer to Ventones somewhere on the internet and send them the link. Just like I am doing right now. Easy as that.
Good Luck!

Go to http://www.phonezoo.com from your computer
Your browser may be hidden on your blackberry
Go to your home screen
then press the menu key
then wen ur menu shows, press menu key again.
you should see an option called "show all"
select that, and it will show u all ur icons.
so your browser mite be hidden rite now.

Phonezoo, myxer, and ventones ALL costs money. Dont believe it's free… cause it's not… at all… You'll get charges for data transfer.. expecially if you dont have the free multimedia and unlimited texting.
Best thing for you to do would be to try crostel.com
they have the easiest transfer.
IF you are still scared to try anything from the internet…
you can make your own ringtone from a website called
cellsea.com
Download your ringtone, then send it to your email.
Email the ringtone to your phone….
but if it exceeds 500 kb.. it's probably not going to send…
plus… most phone's only allow ringtone's to be 300 kb or less…
hope i helped!

They have a huge selection or premade ones.
You can also upload and make your own ringtones for FREE
And they will format the ringtones according to your phone
and carrier. Its the most professional and trusted
place I've used.
