How do you make your own ring tones and use it?
January 8th, 2009
So I have Verizon and I'm tired of paying for my ring tones. On its website and some of its commercials it says you can create your own ring tones. What I want to know is, how do you create it and how do you get it on your phone?
please and thank you
my phone doesn't let me record sounds and set it as my ringtones
i have the chocolate phone
if you go to
myxertones.com
you need to have the mp3 file of the song (which you can get by dowloading from limewire) then you just open the song on the site & cut which part you want to use as your ringer & send it to yourself all for FREE.
but you just minus well get it from the site they have like EVERY song you can think of there.

Go to the link below (it's free (and no, no necessary tasks need to be completed with the exception of downloading the software and checking to see if it is compatible with your phone))

what kind of phone do you have?
on my phone you go to MENU- GET TUNES & TONES- RECORD NEW. Then when you're done recording it saves it and then you go to the song you've recorded hit OPTIONS and then SET AS RINGTONE.

Easy, fast, and free to use. You don't have to download any tools, just create your ring tone and either send it to your phone via text message or download it to your phone with the internet on your phone. It also supports screen savers and videos.
